Intro
Hello i’m James Whittaker an Interactive Designer and Developer residing in Worcester, UK where I live with my partner Rachel and cat Rooibos ( pronounced Roo-bosh, it’s a South African tea ). Currently working for a leading mobile device company as the front-end Technical Architect of their online music service. In my role I develop, advise and set direction on front-end technologies, user experience and design for use on the web, desktop and mobile platforms.
In 2008 I was excited to become a Adobe Community Expert for AIR. I also run the leading Adobe AIR showcase and review site RefreshingApps.com.
Over the last few years I have worked for many companies in the defense, financial and consumer markets designing and developing usable interactive interfaces for web and desktop applications For more details please see my LinkedIn profile.

An International speaker I have held sessions at the Adobe Max Europe 2008 conference in Milan, Italy. In February I’ll be delivering a session at Flash Camp 2009 in London.
